Who runs the classes?
Meet Alanna.
Alanna is one of the midwives that teaches our courses in Winchmore Hill. Alanna qualified from Liverpool John Moores University. She’s a highly experienced senior midwife with 10 years NHS service and 5 years in a leadership midwifery role. She’s passionate about improving people’s birthing experiences and their accessibility to personalised care.
How does this differ to NCT classes in Winchmore Hill?
NCT classes have been around since the 1950s and for many decades were the only antenatal classes. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case. Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes in Winchmore Hill are not the same as NCT classes in Winchmore Hill, or other antenatal classes in and around Winchmore Hill. Here are some of the differences (as per December 2024).
Our local Winchmore Hill community
Most of the people coming on our Winchmore Hill course are from Winchmore Hill and Palmers Green. The course is also popular with those living in neighbouring areas of Enfield, Edmonton, Arnos Grove and Oakwood.
