Weybridge: where are the classes held?
Our Weybridge antenatal classes are held at the Hand and Spear pub on Old Heath Road which has onsite parking and is a stone’s throw from Weybridge station.

Our Weybridge antenatal classes are priced at £199 for two people. We provide a single-parent discount. See our FAQs for full details.

Who runs the classes?
Meet Megan.
Megan is one of the midwives who teaches our Weybridge antenatal classes. Megan graduated from Southampton University in 2010 and works as a community midwife. Outside of midwifery she is a busy mum to a little boy and loves to chase him around the soft play! She says “I can’t wait to meet you on the course and help you feel calm, confident and so excited about your journey to parenthood.”
How does this differ to NCT classes in Weybridge?
The reason NCT springs to mind first for many people when thinking about antenatal classes is because the classes have been around since the 1950s. For many decades they were the only form of antenatal classes available. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case.
The NCT is a charity and instructors complete a degree course to teach the classes. All Happy Parents Happy Baby instructors are midwives and doctors so have a degree but also thousands of hours of practical experience working in birth centres and hospitals.
Unlike NCT classes, our antenatal classes all include hypnobirthing and baby first aid at no extra cost. At the time of writing, NCT classes in Weybridge are priced at £299, compared to £199 for Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes. NCT classes in Weybridge are held at St James C of E Primary School, whereas our classes take place at the Hand and Spear pub where you can relax and make the most of socialising with your course mates.
Our local community
Most of the people coming on our Weybridge course are from Weybridge. The course is also popular with those living in neighbouring areas of Walton-upon-Thames, Shepperton and Addlestone.
From walks along the Rivers Wey and Thames, to coffee shop hangouts and playdates at each other’s houses, graduates from our Weybridge antenatal classes are never short of things to do together.
