Streatham where are the classes held?
Our Streatham antenatal course is held at neighbourhood favourite the Manor Arms on Mitcham Lane, just a 6 minute walk from Streatham station.

Who runs the classes?
Meet Orla.
Orla is one of the midwives who teaches the Streatham antenatal classes.
Orla trained as a midwife in Scotland and has been working in London since 2019. She says: “I’m really looking forward to getting you know you all and help you prepare for parenthood.”
How does this differ to NCT classes in Streatham?
The reason NCT springs to mind first for many people when thinking about antenatal classes is because the classes have been around since the 1950s. For many decades they were the only form of antenatal classes available. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case.
The NCT is a charity and instructors complete a degree course to teach the classes. All Happy Parents Happy Baby instructors are midwives and doctors so have a degree but also thousands of hours of practical experience working in birth centres and hospitals.
Unlike NCT classes, our antenatal classes all include hypnobirthing and baby first aid at no extra cost. At the time of writing, NCT classes in Streatham are priced at £369, compared to £259 for Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes. The NCT classes in Streatham take place at The Woodlawns Centre whereas our classes take place at Perfect Blend so you can relax and make the most of socialising with your course mates in lovely surroundings.
Our local Streatham community
Most of the people coming on our Streatham course are from Streatham. The course is also popular with those living in neighbouring areas of Wandsworth, Clapham, Tooting and Balham. From walks to the local Commons and visits Battersea Power Station, to coffee shop hangouts and playdates at each other’s houses, graduates from our Balham antenatal classes are never short of things to do together.
