Morningside, Edinburgh: where are the classes held?
Our Morningside antenatal and hypnobirthing classes are held at Braids Hill Hotel, which is a lovely hotel on Braid Road close to the Braidburn Valley Park. There is parking available at the hotel or street parking nearby.
How much are Morningside antenatal classes?
Our Morningside, Edinburgh antenatal classes cost £199 for two people. We also offer a single-parent discount. See our FAQs for full details.
Who runs the classes?
Meet Hazel.
Hazel is one of the midwives that teaches our courses in Morningside and Leith. Hazel qualified from Edinburgh Napier University. She says, "I love being a midwife and a mum and can’t wait to meet all the new parents to be and help support you throughout the magical journey of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood."
How does this differ to NCT classes in Edinburgh?
NCT classes have been around since the 1950s and for many decades were the only antenatal classes. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case. Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes in Edinburgh are not the same as NCT classes in Edinburgh, or other antenatal classes in and around Edinburgh. Here are some of the differences (as per December 2024).
