Who runs the classes?
Meet Saffie
Saffie is one of the midwives that teaches our courses in Islington and Highgate. Saffie qualified from University of East Anglia. She says, "I can't wait to help you along the most wonderful new chapter in your lives. I hope for you all to leave this course feeling empowered, excited and ready for the journey that is becoming a new parent."
How does this differ to NCT classes in Highgate?
NCT classes have been around since the 1950s and for many decades were the only antenatal classes. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case. Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes in Highgate are not the same as NCT classes in Highgate, or other antenatal classes in and around Highgate. Here are some of the differences (as per December 2024).
Our local community
Most of the people coming on our Highgate course are from Highgate. The course is also popular with those living in neighbouring areas of Golders Green, Muswell Hill and Archway.
From walks on Hampstead Heath to coffee meetings in Highgate village and playdates at each other’s houses, graduates from our Highgate antenatal classes are never short of things to do together.
