Our Chelmsford antenatal classes are held the historic Two Brewers Pub on Springfield Road close to the town centre.

Who runs the classes?
Meet Jodie.
Jodie graduated in 2018 from Anglia Ruskin University with a First Class Honours in Midwifery and now works as a Community Midwife for Queens Hospital in Romford. She’s also a busy mum to 2 under 2, one girl and one boy. She doesn’t get much spare time but when she does, she loves to dine out in her favourite local Italian Ciao Bella! Jodie says ‘ I’m really looking forward to meeting you all on the course. Together as a group, you will establish long lasting friendships that will see you through all the exciting challenges and joys that being new parents can bring. I can’t wait to support you all, ensuring that you feel fully informed and prepared for every step of the way!’
How does this differ to NCT classes in Chelmsford?
NCT classes have been around since the 1950s and for many decades were the only antenatal classes. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case. Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes in Chelmsford are not the same as NCT classes in Chelmsford, or other antenatal classes in and around Chelmsford. Here are some of the differences (as per December 2024).

Most people on our Chelmsford course are from Chelmsford. The course is also popular with people living neighbouring areas of Broomfield, Great Baddow and Moulsham.
