Bournemouth: where are the classes held?
Our Bournemouth antenatal classes are held at the Brewhouse and Kitchen in the suburb of Southbourne.
How much are Bournemouth antenatal classes?
Our Bournemouth antenatal classes cost £199 for two people. We also offer a single-parent discount. See our FAQs for full details.
Who runs the classes?
Meet Claire.
Claire qualified as a midwife in 2015 from King’s College London and has worked in London and the South West in labour ward, birth centre and community roles. She has also worked overseas as a midwife in Uganda and Rwanda, but has now returned to her home town of Bournemouth. She says ‘Every family, every baby, and every birth is special, and I can’t wait to support you in your own unique journey!’
How does this differ to NCT classes in Bournemouth?
NCT classes have been around since the 1950s and for many decades were the only antenatal classes. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case. Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes in Bournemouth are not the same as NCT classes in Bournemouth, or other antenatal classes in and around Bournemouth. Here are some of the differences (as per December 2024).
Our local Bournemouth community
Most people on our Bournemouth course are from Bournemouth. The course is also popular with people living neighbouring areas of Christchurch, Poole and Boscombe.
From walks along the beach and trips to local farms, to hangouts in the coffee shops and at each other’s houses, graduates from our Bournemouth antenatal classes are never short of things to do.
