Jamie and Skye calmly welcomed their baby twins into the world via Cesarean section. Attending the HPHB course helped them prepare for the birth itself as well as the early days at home with two babies to care for.

Sophie’s baby was breech and so she was booked in for a planned Cesarean section. However, 3 days before she was due to go into hospital, Baby Ernest had other ideas and Sophie went into labour.

Jenny had Tio Polly on Boxing Day. After a long labour, she was delighted to deliver her naturally using only gas and air.

Sophie tells about the positive experience she had when she welcomed her baby Elisa into the world. She had hoped to avoid an epidural but explains how grateful she was for the intervention and the care she received from the team looking after her.

Kelly looks back at her baby Noah’s arrival via forceps delivery in a really positive light - she tells us how HPHB helped her and her husband prepare for a labour that might require intervention.

Fran and Harry came on our HPHB premium course in Clapham. Fran had hyper stimulation of contractions and so found having an epidural very beneficial.

First time parents Irmeen and Peter had a really positive birth experience when they welcomed baby Noah into the world. The fact they were so well informed about what to expect helped them stay calm throughout labour and beyond.

Esther’s labour didn’t unfold in the way that she had hoped and involved both an induction and an epidural. However she still had a really positive birth experience. She tell us how she was prepared to change her “ideal” for what was best for her and her baby.
