What you'll learn
Session One: Get ready to wean with our Paediatric dietician (live online)
This session will cover everything you need to know to get your weaning journey off to a great start including:
- What is weaning?
- What you might need
- When to start
- Spoon feeding and baby led weaning
- Creating a healthy diet
- Essential nutrients
- Vegetarian and vegan guidance
- Tips for reducing fussy eating
- Gagging & choking
- Allergies
- Drinks
- Milk feeds once solid foods are introduced
Session Two: Baby first aid with our Paediatric doctor (live online)
This session will cover everything you need to know about Baby First Aid.
As your baby becomes more mobile and starts exploring and eating solid foods, it’s a really good time to recap some essential baby first aid skills. In this session we will cover:
- Choking
- Resuscitation (CPR)
- The recovery position
- Head injuries
- Bleeding
- Burns
- Fractures
- Fevers and febrile seizures
- Allergies and anaphylaxis
- Rashes and meningitis
- Car and home safety

This course takes place over two separate interactive Zoom sessions.

Yes of course! This is a fully interactive course so we always encourage questions.
What if the course times don’t work around my baby’s schedule?
No problem. We know things can be unpredictable with a small baby, so we record all the sessions so you can catch up with anything you’ve missed.
What if I can’t make a session?
The sessions are recorded so you can catch up at another time that suits you.
